antioxidant highlights
Our RefreShea spa box contains some of our finest antioxidant skin care and bath products plus our mango green tea and our signtuare tea mug. Rejuvenate your skin and replenish antioxidants. All natural antioxidant ingredients include grape seed oil, wheat germ, shea butter, olive leaf, amalki fruit, watermelon, plantain leaf extract, coconut, and Rooibos. Wheat germ contains zinc, a trace mineral and antioxidant essential for proper immune system function and hormone production. Plantain leaf extract provides an excellent source of vitamin C and B6. Watermelon provides an excellent source of vitamins A and C and lycopene, a potent antioxidant that studies have shown may lower the risk of a range of different cancers. Olive leaf is an antioxidant that has also been shown to improve skin health. Shea butter is a potent antioxidant that moisturizes and heals skin. Products are scented with various natural ingredients, including orange, raspberry, rosemary and mint. The health benefits of green tea have been extensively researched and studies have shown that green tea drinkers appear to have lower risk for a wide range of diseases, from simple bacterial or viral infections to chronic degenerative conditions, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, stroke, periodontal disease, and osteoporosis. Mangoes add antioxidants to your diet and, by neutralizing free radicals, may help your body maintain its natural good health.*
* Although our founders, both cancer survivors, believe that antioxidants made a difference in their treatment outcome, the foregoing statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and while antioxidants are being studied for a variety of potential health benefits, antioxidants have not yet been proven to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
